Party season is upon us, so we’ve come up with some ideas to help you when deliberating over your perfect party look. Try these hair and makeup tips to be the envy of all your friends this Christmas.
Recycle that bow
Bows have been back on trend the past couple of seasons, and there is no better way to bring it out of the closet then for Christmas. Swept back and tied into a loose ponytail is the winning look here. We’re still gushing over the bowed look seen on the 2014 Roksanda Ilincic catwalk.
Jazz up your locks this Christmas with some artistic hair tattoos. It is important to place the stencil in an area that you won’t be touching too much, and to wear with a locked in hairstyle which will stay all night long. We advise to stencil the parting of your hair and to wear with a low slick ponytail, a tight braid or two hair buns. These looks will ensure the hair is tightly kept in place and there is no risk of the stencils losing their form.
The Big Blow Dry
There’s no time like Christmas to go full bounce with your blow dry. Keep the pins in for as long as possible to achieve fuller curls and prolonged bounce.
Glittery nails or glittery lips?
It’s Christmas! If you can’t channel glitter at Christmas you can never wear glitter. If you’re not brave enough to wear it on your lips, opt for it on your nails. Layer a sparkly nail polish over a dark colour for maximum impact.
